Strategic Goals
1.) Uncover, rediscover and celebrate Cherokee County’s Revolutionary Era, its significant people, places, principles, and events.
2.) Research, interpret, preserve, mark, and make publically accessible Cherokee County’s Revolutionary sites.
3.) Educate Cherokee County’s citizens, students, and visitors about South Carolina’s and Cherokee County’s roles in the American Revolution.
4.) Promote cultural heritage tourism by telling Cherokee County’s American Revolution War stories from many points of view.
5.) Plan and promote local 250th Anniversary commemorative events, arts, preservation, and the development of heritage tourism.
